In June 2022, the 15th GaoGong Lithium Battery Industry Summit will be held at the Changzhou Maoshan International Conference Center. More than 300 business leaders in the battery, materials, equipment, energy storage, and other fields, as well as 500 senior executives of the lithium battery industry chain, will gather in Changzhou to explore the development of power battery industry towards the TWh era. Entering 2022, under the trend of expanding lithium battery production, the industry chain is also facing various challenges: upstream material shortages and price increases; delayed delivery of equipment and high-quality production capacity in the middle section of the manufacturing process; and downstream more stringent requirements from customers for range, safety, charging speed, cost, etc., which urgently need to be addressed.
Currently, the main track of the lithium battery industry, new energy vehicles and energy storage, is starting a large cycle of the lithium battery industry. Faced with changing international environmental situations, fluctuations in prices of new energy materials and equipment supply chains, core constraints in production capacity and stable delivery, how power battery companies can build a competitive supply chain defense and play a decisive role in embracing new cycles and strategic landing.
